IMPORTANT: These 2 resources are NOT open source. They are delivered as Asset Escrow / protected files and do not include editable source code.
Only the main resource 4bit Appearance (Open Source) v1.6.2 is fully open source (unencrypted client/server/UI source).
Do not expect full source access, edits, or unlocks for GreenScreen or Assets 01.
🧩 UI Source — Install node_modules (only if you edit the UI)
To run the script in-game, you do not need to install Node. The built UI in html/ is already included.
Install dependencies only if you want to edit / rebuild the UI source in ui/:
1. Install Node.js (LTS) on your PC.
2. Open a terminal in the resource folder:
cd 4bit_appearance/ui
3. Install packages:
npm install --legacy-peer-deps
4. Start UI development (optional):
npm run dev
5. Build production UI into html/ after your changes:
npm run build
Note: --legacy-peer-deps is required because of Svelte peer dependency versions.
⚠️ IMPORTANT — READ BEFORE BUYING
- ❗ Separate product from the Escrow version: This Open Source package is NOT the same product as 4bit Appearance (Escrow).
- ❗ No Escrow updates: Buying Open Source does NOT give you updates from the Escrow / Asset Escrow line. Escrow updates are exclusive to the Escrow product.
- ❗ Frozen version: The Open Source release is locked at v1.6.2. You will not receive future versions (1.6.3+, etc.) unless a new Open Source package is sold separately later.
- ❗ Extra packs are protected: GreenScreen and Assets 01 are included, but they are NOT open source (escrow/protected).
- ❗ No Support: This product does NOT include support, setup help, debugging, or customization assistance.
- ❗ No Setup Help: You are fully responsible for installation, framework bridge, database, and configuration.
- ❗ Developer-Oriented: Recommended only if you understand Lua / FiveM resources / basic Node (for UI edits).
- ❗ Sold As-Is: Provided exactly as delivered for version 1.6.2.
- ❗ Redistribution / Resale Forbidden: You may use and modify the open source resource on your own server. You may not resell, leak, reupload, or redistribute the source.

Open Source does NOT mean free to resell.
- ❌ It is illegal to sell, resell, reupload, or redistribute this product (or any modified version) on another store, website, Discord, Tebex, Keymaster package, or any marketplace.

If you resell or redistribute this product:
- ⚖️ Legal action will be taken against you.
- 🔒 Your license / access to the Open Source package will be permanently revoked.

By purchasing this product, you confirm that you understand: (1) the main resource is Open Source v1.6.2 (frozen), (2) GreenScreen and Assets 01 are included but NOT open source, (3) this does not include Escrow-tier updates, (4) no support or future updates are included, and (5) reselling or redistributing this product is illegal and will result in legal action plus permanent loss of access.
